Guitar Hero for the Nintendo DS?

Rumours are starting to heat up that the upcoming Guitar Hero port to the Nintendo DS will be called “Guitar Hero: On Tour”

Guitar Hero fanatics will recall that back in April 2007, Kai Huang, president and founder of RedOctane, confirmed to GameSpot that the company is looking at a DS Guitar Hero for release early 2008.

Now on January 19, 2008, Activision went ahead and had the term “Guitar Hero: On Tour” trademarked.

Now think about it… “On Tour”. It’s not exactly easy to take your PS3 or 360 “on tour”, but you can certainly bring your DS with you out of the house quite easily.

Oh, we should also mention that the french gaming site, Wiiz, announced that Activision said that one of the titles that is coming out is… Guitar Hero: on tour. No official confirmation directly from Activision at this time.

Surely a version for the PSP is around the corner
