Guitar Hero 4 News
By Tyler Ryan on Feb 6, 2008 in News
The latest Guitar Hero 4 details have come from an unlikely source and they start to shed some insight as to the Guitar Hero 4 tracklisting. Eurogamer picked up on a press release from British rock band The Answer. According to the press release, their 2005 single “Never Too Late” has been selected to appear on the Guitar Hero 4 playlist.
Activision held a listening session at this year’s Marché international de l’édition musicale (MIDEM) in Cannes to give artists a chance to have their song featured in Guitar Hero 4. Over 200 songs were submitted and the list was narrowed down to 20 for the listening session which had Tim Riley, Activision’s worldwide executive of music, as one of the judges amongst other Activision and music industry professionals.
This obviously comes as fantastic news for The Answer as inclusion in the Guitar Hero series has proven to increase music sales and this can only help to increase their exposure.
Expect a Guitar Hero 4 release date late 2008.
