Rock Band picks up 3 awards at the Interactive Achievement Awards

On Thursday night, at the 11th annual Interactive Achievement Awards, Rock Band and MTV picked up 3 awards.
The awards, which are considered the most prestigious in the video gaming industry, were held during the annual DICE conference organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. Video of the event was streamed live on Gamespot.com
Rock Band picked up the awards for “Outstanding Innovation in Gaming”, “Family Game of the Year”, and “Outstanding Achievement in Sountrack”.
Perhaps due to lack of innovation over it’s previous titles, Activision’s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock failed to win any awards, although it would have received my vote for the “Outstanding Achievement in Sountrack” award over Rock Band.
