Rock Band II?

It would seem that during an analyst meeting yesterday, EA president Frank Gibeau confirmed that the Rock Band frachise (among others) would be getting a new installment.
Gibeau called the plans part of EA’s “turn around” strategy that focuses on “a strong pipeline of innovative sequels and new IP”
Whether the new installment is referring to the European release of Rock Band, or about an upcoming announcement for a new Rock Band game, was not clarified.
No further info was given, nor was a release date time frame.
Given the success of Rock Band and the recent announcement of new Guitar Hero games, from competitors Activision, this does not come as a surprise.
