Going to Prison? Lock up your Guitar Hero.

From Holmen, Wisconsin, comes a story about why you should lock up your Guitar Hero if you’re going to prison, as well as some handy tips on how, should it be stolen, to recover it when you get out.

The unidentified victim in this case, who had just been released from prison, came home to discover that while he was gone his house had been burglarized.  Among the items stolen from his residence were a Nintendo Wii and a Guitar Hero controller.

 After making a complaint to the police, the victim “began to think about who might know he was in jail and would want to burglarize him.”  The man thought of Ross Brandau, and went to his house in neighboring Onalaska.

Upon arrival at the house, the man peered in through the windows and saw the stolen items, along with Brandau who refused to let the man in, so he called the police.

When the police arrived, Brandau came out with all of the stolen items, except for the guitar controller which was recovered in a search of the home, along with a marijuana grinder.

The moral of the story is that when you get out of the clink and your gear’s gone you should head over to pothead friend’s house, they’ve been keeping your game safe for you!
