Gibson Guitars is now Suing Harmonix

It’s just been announced that on top of suing Activision, and retailers of Guitar Hero, Gibson Guitar’s Corp. is now suing Harmonix, Viacom, and EA.

In an earlier story we had remarked that if they’re suing ‘Guitar Hero’ that they should be suing Rock Band as well. We were joking, Gibson.

The only reason we can think of that they are now deciding to pursue this action is to legitImize their legal action against Activision.

Many legal analysts are speculating that Gibson only started the original proceedings against Activision after it became clear that Activision would no longer be renewing their support and marketing agreements with Gibson.
