Def Leppard to be in Guitar Hero IV

On the radio show Rockline, a caller asked why there were no Def Leppard songs on either Guitar Hero or in Rock Band.

Def Leppard guitarist Phill Collen replied that they would be in the upcoming Guitar Hero 4, and that the songs “Rock of Ages”, “Animal”, and ”Photograph” would be featured.

Rockline has a section on their website where they rebroadcast older shows, but it is holding off on a rebroadcast of the show until the 29th, because part of the album was played during the show.

Ed Note: 3 songs in one version of Guitar Hero?  I’m wondering if this might actually be a Def Leppard themed DLC?  -Tyler

Update: The Guardian had a story that featured The Answer last month, and it talked about Guitar Hero.  In the story The Answer’s lead singer, Paul Mahon, mentioned that at a Guitar Hero launch party they were announced by Joe Elliot of Def Leppard on a videoscreen.  Coincidence?
