That, my friends, is an example of what the company Colorware can do for your guitar controller and console.
Colorware has been around since 2000 and have been applying their work to computer cases, gaming consoles, and mp3/video players. Now they’re finally doing custom guitar controllers.
Right now they seem to only be doing the Guitar Hero Gibson Les Paul controllers for the 360, PS3, and Wii, but maybe in the future they will expand to the Rock Band controller as well, perhaps even the PS2’s Kramer.
More info after the break.
Colorware will take your controller and apply their coloring process from a list of colors that you can pick from. They can do the full guitar in one color, or they can apply separate colors to any combination of the faceplate, the body front or back, the neck front or back, or the fret buttons and strum bar as well.
Pricing starts at $99 USD, to do the whole guitar in one color if you send the guitar in, or $188 to buy a pre-painted guitar without having to send your guitar in.
