Guitar Hero Aerosmith Bundle to get New SG Controllers

Update: Looks like PS3 and 360 guitars are getting the Gibson treatment, but instead of a woodgrain style finish, they’re coming with Aerosmith faceplates. Images at the bottom of the post.

Update #2: Ok, so while these guitars are available through the Red Octane website, it looks like the Kramer will be the guitar controller bundled with the PS2 version.

Just saw these sweet looking Gibson SG Controllers over at the Red Octane website.

Joe Perry’s known for playing a wood grain colored Gibson, so why not release a wood grained color Gibson.

Only finding these for the PS2 release, but I suspect they might be releasing PS3, 360, and Wii versions soon, and hopefully as the Les Pauls.

More Pictures and info after the break.

For the PS2 Guitar Hero: Aerosmith bundle with the new guitar is $79.99 USD, or you can purchase the guitar separately for $49.99 USD. Source: Red Octane

For the PS3 and 360 Guitar Hero: Aerosmith bundle with the new guitar is $99.99. No price yet on the guitar by itself. The guitar does look like the same Gibson Les Paul released in the GHIII bundle for the PS3 and 360 - so it may be likely that you can soon buy just the faceplate. Source on Price: GameStop
