Gavin Rossdale’s “Frontline” to be in Guitar Hero 4

In an interview with ARTISTdirect, Gavin Rossdale announced that his song ‘Frontline’ from his solo album ‘WANDERlust’ would be included in “the next Guitar Hero”.

ARTISTdirect: [I]t’s cool that music pops up in other venues like video games. Would you ever want to score a video game or a movie?
Gavin Rossdale: Yeah, absolutely! I think I’ve got something in the next Guitar Hero, “Frontline.” It’s funny. The thing is that it’s all about rolling with what’s going on. I think that’s the great thing about music. It’s so transportable. It can pop up in so many different outlets and ways. I think it’s great, because like you said, everyone needs that outlet. You put a great song with a great video game that’s pretty cool.
ARTISTdirect: As long as the people get to hear it.
Gavin Rossdale: Absolutely!

Given that Gavin (to our knowledge) has never toured solo with Aerosmith, and that ‘Frontline’ doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the known songs for On Tour, we have to expect that ‘Frontline’ will be in the lineup for Guitar Hero 4.
