Appear in a Rock Band Television Commercial

If you want to appear in a commercial for Rock Band, or just want to get your mug on TV, you should check out the latest contest from the Xbox 360 Community.  The contest is only open for UK, French and German residents only however.

To enter, you need to add ‘Xbox360uk’ to your friends list on either MySpace or Bebo, then change your profile picture to one displaying your best ‘rocker’ pose.

The 20 best poses will be selected, forwarded to the casting director, who then may choose one or more people to be included.

Contest closes this Sunday (April 27th).

And what do you get if you win?  Well…  to be in the commercial.  No compensation, financial or otherwise is provided, and you would be responsible for bearing any costs to get to the shoot.  And that would be for casting which is on or around the 29th, and then filming which is next month (on the 7th and 8th).

If you want our opinion, just find out where the casting is and show up to audition for a paid part.  You could then take that money and put it towards a purchase of Rock Band (hey, it might even cover the difference in price you have to pay to get a copy of it in Europe).
