Def Leppard DLC features Live Tracks

I just downloaded the Def Leppard DLC that became available yesterday and, to much surprise, the tracks “Rock of Ages” and “Photograph” are live versions of the songs, not master tracks.

Still excited to get Def Leppard for Guitar Hero, but I would have much preferred masters.

The new single “Nine Lives”, at least, is a master.

Would you have preferred master tracks?  Or do you like the idea of live recordings?

  1. Personally, I would have preferred the masters. I love Rock of Ages & Photograph along with numerous other Def Leppard songs(Animal,Rocket,Armageddon It,ect) But from hearing these songs, they suck live, or atleast did in ‘93. Couldn’t they have atleast got an earlier live recording, from the 80s when they were at their peak?
    The only band I’d like to see live songs from on GH/RB, is KISS.
