Joe Satriani to appear in Guitar Hero and Rock Band

Do you remember the Guitar World Magazine we told you about last month with the big Guitar Hero influence?  Well it turns out we missed a big story that was in the magazine.

Guitar World interviewed guitar legend Joe Satriani who told them that his songs “Satch Boogie” and “Surfing With the Alien” have been licensed by Activision and EA.

He said they would appear in the next installments or updates in Guitar Hero and Rock Band.  Satriani did not confirm which songs would appear in which game, nor did he confirm if they would be part of a DLC, or part of a new installment.

Joe Satriani is considered a guitar legend and has worked with Deep Purple, the Rolling Stones, among others.
