Ridiculous Guitar Hero (sort of, I guess) Video

Guitar World Magazine created a short video clip featuring Michael Angelo Batio ang Guitar Hero.  For those of you who might not be familiar with Michael Angelo Batio, he is known for having some of the fastest fingers on a fretboard and also known in some circles as that double-guitar guy(see picture to the left).

The video starts off with a young kid playing Guitar Hero before Michael Angelo Batio busts in.  Batio wails away on his double guitar before grabbing the Guitar Hero Controller and smashing it.  Then there’s the ‘real guitar heroes play real guitar’ tagline or something like that at the end.  We had stopped paying real attention by that point.

I think this might have been an attempt at a viral video for advertising purposes, but I don’t think it will be effective.  Mind you we are mentioning it on Console Hero…  perhaps we’re starting something.

Dear Guitar World Magazine,

If this is an attempt at something viral, you should make the video more accessable for other websites to carry, perhaps throw it up on youtube, or other video and file sharing websites.
