Upcoming South Park DVD to feature Rock Band Content

TVShowsOnDVD is reporting that marketing materials sent to retailers are claiming that the release of South Park’s 11th season will contain three songs available for play on Rock Band.

Rock Band players might already be familiar with the fact that there is already a South Park influence in the game.  Rock Band contains a track from Timmy & The Lords of the Underworld, which is a South Park Band.

The 11th season of South Park also includes the episode titled Guitar Queer-o, which poked fun at guitar based games and players.

No information was given as to what songs will be available with the DVD.

South Park - The Complete 11th Season on DVD is set for release on August 12.
