Punisher Used to Sell Guitar Hero

The latest issue of Punisher War Journal (That’s issue #18 - ed) features a nifty little advertisement for Guitar Hero III Mobile.

Placed right in the action, the Guitar Hero III Mobile advertisement is featured on the side of some boxy industrial looking object (see picture), telling people to text SHRED to 46966

Now what makes this advertisement really special is the fact that it’s right in one of the comic panels as opposed to a regular advertisement on one of the pages.  What makes that a genius move is that some video game websites might make a post about it, thus causing even more exposure (like we just did with this post).

Anyhow, the advertisement takes place on the top panel of pages 4…  right before Mr. Castle drives a knife through some guy’s eye.  It’s also shown again on page 5.

Did we mention that it takes place in a guitar store.
