Rock Band about to be Big In Japan

Harmonix announced this morning that they will be taking Rock Band to Japan.

Harmonix will be teaming up with Q Entertainment to create a version of Rock Band that will be specifically crafted for the Japanese Market.

Rock Band will be ”the first US-originated rock music game to be heavily localized for the Japanese market,” said Harmonix in a statement today.

They also said that the game would feature more localized content for the Japanese market, meaning that there will be a lot of Japanese artists and other Japan related assets.  Harmonix is hoping to “return to the birthplace of rhythm games.”
