June 10 Rock Band DLC Partially Announced

The European wing of Microsoft has revelaed that Maximo Park’s “Girls Who Play Guitars” will be available for download on Tuesday, June 10th.

“We have an Xbox 360 with Rock Band installed in our rehearsal studio in Newcastle and it’s great for thrashing out some amazing songs,” explains Paul of Maximo Park. “We can’t wait until our fans can do the same with Girls Who Play Guitars.”

This will be released as part of the “Xbox 360 Presents Rock Band Live” launch.  The ‘Rock Band Live’ is a competition that is giving away a week’s holiday at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel located in Ibiza.

Gamers can play Rock Band songs at events where they can get onto the wall of fame at Xbox.com.  Maximo Park will be judging the competition and if they think you’re good, you could win the prize.

Now we say ‘partially’ announced because we have to suspect that there will be more than one song next week.
