Whatever happened to Who’s Next for Rock Band?

200px-whosnext.jpgOur friends over at Rock Band Mods have an interesting post about why ‘Who’s Next’, which was supposed to be the first full album for Rock Band, never came and likely never will.

The article points to an interview with Pete Townsend where he mentions that the masters for one of the sides of the album was actually stolen from a vault.

So unless The Who decide to record half of the album again, or Harmonix gets session musicians, you won’t be seeing the complete album released for Rock Band.

    About the news, that really sucks. So far no full album dlc has really grabbed my attention, hopefully “Nevermind” will come soon :(
