Pixies Doolitle to Come Out Next Week for Rock Band

Update:  Sorry…  This will not be “next” week..  but rather, the week after…   Harmonix has now announced that this will be released on Tuesday June 24th for the Xbox 360 and Thursday June 26 PS3.  Everything else is correct.

Well, this has not been confirmed by Harmonix as of yet, but you can pretty much expect it to get confirmed tommorow.

An article from IGN shows a few songs from the upcoming album, The Pixies’ 1989 classic “Doolitle”.

The article contains video footage of full band for a few songs and also reviews the album saying quote “Look no further than next week’s Rock Band DLC. The Pixies’ “Doolittle” is coming.

For 1520 Microsoft Points ($19) you can own the entire album. That’s 14 master tracks to go along with “Wave of Mutilation,” which is already included with Rock Band. Or you can pick and choose songs at 160 Microsoft Points ($2) per track.” So, we can expect that this will be the announcement from Harmonix tommorow.
