The most recent Starpower podcast had guest Chris Chike on to talk about his recent FC of Through the Fire And Flames, as well as guests Chris Vance of Neversoft and Jordan Dodge of Red Octane.
Answering questions on the podcast, Chris Vance of Neversoft gave us a clue as to a tier in the upcoming Guitar Hero: Aerosmith saying that “There will be a bonus setlist and in Guitar Hero Aerosmith it will be called The Vault”.
When asked if the Aerosmith song “I Dont Want to Miss a Thing” would be in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Chris Vance confirmed that it “will not be one of the songs that’s in the game” but gave a hint that we could expect it in Guitar Hero: World Tour by saying “That song would be much more suited to a full band game if anything”.
It was also mentioned that there are a few cover songs in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, but it was mentioned that “All the Aerosmith songs are masters”. Jordan Dodge of Red Octane said that “a couple of them that were rerecorded recently for the game”.
When asked if At The Drive In’s song “One Armed Scissor” would be in the game, as recently rumored in press releases, it was not confirmed but it was said that there is truth to some of the rumors out on the internet. All that tells us is that “One Armed Scissor” will either be released for Guitar Hero: World Tour OR Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, which we already expect.

A little strange that they would take Aerosmith’s biggest hit and not include it on a game dedicated to Aerosmith…
But my guess is that they’re going to use it with World Tour, from a marketing perspective, to help them sell the gamer to a broader audience.

Maybe it’s just because there’s not alot of guitar notes in the song, compared to their other songs. They’ll probably save it for GH World Tour in order to add the drums and voice tracks.

They already said it will come out on world tour due to it being more of a full band song rather than just lead guitar
