Ultimate Band Screenshots and Concept Box Art

In addition to yesterdays market research leaks came more news regarding Disney’s foray into the rhythm gaming market with Ultimate Band.
We might have mentioned Ultimate Band before, but here’s a quick recap. Ultimate Band is being developed by ‘Fall Line Studios’ and will be published by ‘Disney Interactive Studios’ for play on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
Ultimate Band is similar to the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series of games, but it differs in that it does not employ instrument like peripherals, but rather will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to play.
Not much news came out regarding the game, although one of the market research links said that it would also be released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. That we’re skeptical on.
There were a number of videos showing the controls for the game - see all the videos here.
Good luck finding the videos however as Disney lawyers seem to be filing mass copyright violation claims today. We have seen them however and will say this much; The game looks really… uh… not that fun. Of course maybe if they left the videos alone, consumers would be able to judge for themselves. But it’s likely a case of ‘better to keeps one’s mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and leave no doubt - only substitute “mouth shut” for “videos offline”, and “fool” for “bad game”.
Based on the videos we also know that the game will include the following songs (please remember that all songs are covers);
- Plain White T’s - “Our Time Now”
- The White Stripes - “Fell In Love With A Girl”
- The Who - “My Generation”
Also on the site were a number a screenshots of the game as well as concept art.

Update: According to some readers there were a few more box art concepts on the site in addition to the ones we have above. If any of you happened to save the pictures, please contact us.
Update #2: Some of those on the NeoGAF forums are saying the game info mentioned compatibility with Guitar Hero and Rock Band instruments, though I can’t see how exactly.
