Guitar Hero: Hannah Montana

Well it’s all making sense now… When Miley Cyrus was shooting a video earlier this month that showed her smashing a Guitar Hero guitar, it wasn’t that she was making some sort of artistic statement against such games… it was showing how much she loved it.
At least it better have been, or it will just make this latest offering from Disney way too funny.
This fall, Disney will introduce it’s ‘Pop Tour Guitars’ which is just a little bit like Guitar Hero. Plug them into a standard tv and play along with ten of your favorite Hannah Montana songs using the guitar controller to match the musical note. This will have a MSRP of $69.99.
Of course the fun doesn’t stop there. They are also introducing the ‘Disney Vocal Training Kit’ (Click on the picture to the left for a full view).
The descriptioin for this particular item says that it’s a microphone based game that comes with software that will show you song lyrics with the notes you have to hit.
I think it was first called SingStar, or maybe even the vocal tour for Rock Band.
We’re just waiting for Hannah Montana branded drums now so we never have to play Rock Band again.

this is ridiculous. Just because Guitar Hero has made a popular game every other company has to shoot out its copy of it. No one even likes Hannah Montana…and it has three notes on it…give me a break.

Duh people, this isn’t for anyone who can actually play guitar hero. This is aimed at young kids, like my seven year old daughter. She has tried guitar hero and gets too frustrated with it. Plus, she doesn’t like the songs which OBVIOUSLY aren’t aimed at kids that young. I think the plug and play will be great for kids this age. Think about who the target audience is before you make stupid comments. Duhhhhh

This is a great game for my neices who love Hannah Montana. I know it is not the full blown Guitar Hero but it works for the young ones who have trouble with the full version. It will be a great start. so for all you mockers give it up this is not for you it is a childs version.
