More Guitar Hero: World Tour Playable Characters

Jimi Hendrix is expected to be a playable character in Guitar Hero: World Tour

We love surveys. They’ve let us know about Rock Band 2 and the possible cover art for the game. They’ve also given us a heads up on new details about controllers and artists for Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Today we get more information from a survey that tells us who some playable characters in the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour may be as well as some more song information.

On top of the playable characters that we had already speculated would be in the game (Ted Nugent, Travis Barker, and Billy Corgan), the survey also mentioned that we would be getting Sting, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendrix, Hayley Williams and Zakk Wylde. The survey also indicated that from Tool we would be getting “at least three songs and a dedicated venue”

Then take it to a whole new level by jumping into a fully-integrated recording studio to lay down, upload, and share custom tracks online - for virtually unlimited rock.

This, if accurate, is fantastic news. Tool fans will definately be happy with the multiple songs from Tool. We’re pretty pumped about the variety of playable characters (JIMI HENDRIX!!!!).
