Rock Band 2 to have 80 Tracks?

We reported 2 days ago that Rock Band 2 survey may have indicated that the game would have 120 songs.
Do keep in mind that survey questions are often developed to see just how far a game publisher will have to go to sell a product.
The AP now reports, after an interview with Harmonix, that Rock Band 2 will have in the neighborhood of 80 tracks.
While Harmonix may have been looking at the need for 120 tracks in the game, we suspect that they have settled on 80 as the magic number of needed tracks.
This sounds like a more realistic number but we will keep you updated
