Guitar Hero: World Tour to Get Funky

The American Band is expected to be in Guitar Hero: World Tour
The American Band is expected to be in Guitar Hero: World Tour
While we were out in the wilderness for most of last week celebrating the Independence Day holiday, some people were out at concerts videotaping commercials on the big screen.

Concert goers who attended the American Idol concert in San Diego on July 2nd were treated to the most recent Guitar Hero: World Tour commercial which featured various American Idol contestants playing along to Guitar Hero: World Tour.

The song they were singing was Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re An American Band”. While this song has not officially been confirmed we expect it’s inclusion in Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Also, Grand Funk Railroad isn’t actually a “funk” band, but we still consider them funky, so don’t get all anxious about correcting our headline.

We’ve included a copy of the video after the break.

Well their haid is Grand and Funky, plus their probably standing next to a railroad. So all aspects of their name have somethong to do with nothing.
