Metallica's 'Death Magenetic' will be available as a DLC for Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero: World Tour
Metallica’s upcoming album ‘Death Magnetic’ will be available for Guitar Hero III as a DLC when the album is released, and it will also be available for Guitar Hero: World Tour when World Tour is released.
Guitar Hero: Metallica was also confirmed alongside the announcement and should be released sometime before June 2009.
Other Guitar Hero: World Tour information from the E3 conference;
- There will be an REM track pack featuring 3 songs from their new album
- The Eagles and Van Halen are now exclusive to Guitar Hero
We’re wondering if the “DLC” is just a ploy to get us to download Metallica songs followed by them going after our ISP’s for I.P. records and then suing us…

Will death magnetic be exclusive dlc for xbox users only (no ps3 download) like the rem track pack as said in the e3 video ?
