Bad News For Australia?
By Tyler Ryan on Aug 14, 2008 in News
IGN is reporting that Rock Band might be “Dead Down Under”. They are saying that the release for Rock Band in Australia might be delayed indefinately because “retail buyers simply aren’t interested in stocking a bulky product that’s a year old and will cost more than its similarly bulky – and up to date - competitor Guitar Hero: World Tour”.
Dear Australia,
We’re sorry that this always seems to happen. Getting games released way after they are released in North American, sometimes not even seeing the release at all.
At least you can look back with fondness on the time you received the DS Lite before your American friends by a full 10 days.
As a recent immigrant to the continent from North America, please know that I too feel your pain. Well not really. I imported my games and systems when I moved.
At least we have Guitar Hero World Tour coming soon, and at a lower price!

maybe harmonix should lern to release their games at the same time worldwide and not 1 year later i hope they will not make with rock band 2 the same mistake because else a lot of people will buy ghwt

Well, that’s like that brilliant idea they had for Wii’s version of Rock Band I.
