Guitar Hero is a popular series of video games that utilizes a guitar shaped peripheral.
The first Guitar Hero game was released in November 2005 for the Playstation 2 and was developed by Harmonix.
To date, there have been 5 Guitar Hero games released with 2 more awaiting release. The most recent Guitar Hero game that has been announced in Guitar Hero: World Tour which will feature drums and microphone.
