The Rock Band series of video games is developed by Harmonix, the original developers of the Guitar Hero series, and is published by MTV Games.
Rock Band is another rhythm based music game similar to Guitar Hero, but it’s major difference is that instead of utilizing just a guitar controller, it also uses drum and mic peripherals as well.
To date there is has only been one Rock Band game released, and that was on November 20, 2007. Rock Band 2 has not been officially announced, but a number of artists are saying that they will be included in the game and concept box art has been leaked as well.
